The image shows numerous hyaline globules in a hemangioblastoma. Given their circumscribed nature, total surgical resection can be done in most cases with excellent results. The long-term prognosis in patient with von Hippel Lindau disease is less favorable due to multiple tumors and systemic manifestations.
