Clear Cell Ependymoma
Image Description
Clear cell ependymomas are frequently supratentorial and cystic and are characterized by large nuclei and clear cytoplasm. The cytoplasmic features create some resemblance to oligodendrogliomas. However, unlike oligodendrogliomas, they are sharply demarcated. Most clear cell ependymomas meet the criteria for WHO Grade III tumors.
