This type AB thymoma shows lymphocyte-poor type A component of spindle cells in the right half. The left half shows lymphocyte-rich B component which contains abundant TdT+ immature T-cells. The two components are sharply demarcated by a fibrous band. In some cases, the two components are intricately mixed with one another.
