Lepromatous leprosy presents as diffuse plaques or nodular skin lesions with a predeliction for cooler acral areas (such as ear lobes, tip of nose, and back of hand).The skin is not anaesthetic, hypopigmented or anhydrotic in contrast to tuberculoid leprosy where these features are found.
