Pulmonary Langerhans Cell Histiocytosis (LCH) - Morphology: Pulmonary LCH is an interstitial lung disease. Normal lungs contain scattered Langerhans cells (LCs) in the interstitium. LCs are often increased in number in smokers; however, pulmonary LCH shows clusters and nodular aggregates of LCs. Two nodular aggregates are seen in this image.
