Image Description

The nuclei of Langerhans cells lack cytologic atypia and have a distinctive complex, folded, indented, or grooved appearance. Several nuclei are seen in this transmission electron micrograph. The nuclear chromatin is finely dispersed and nucleoli are not prominent.
