EATL - Immunophenotype : CD3
Image Description
Immunophenotype of Enteropathy-associated T-cell Lymphoma (EATL): The neoplastic T-cells are CD3+ (shown here; higher magnification of the previous image), CD5-, CD7+, CD4-, CD8-, and CD103+. They show cytotoxic phenotype (i.e. positive for TIA1, granzyme B, and perforin).
CD8 positivity is seen in 19-30% of cases. In a small number of cases, there is expression of T-cell receptor (TCR) beta, TCR gamma, or both. EATLs with large cell or anaplastic morphology are frequently CD30+.
