Image Description

Ovarian Burkitt lymphoma may be seen in endemic, sporadic, as well as in immunodeficiency-associated settings. Most cases occur in children and adolescents. Occasional cases may be seen in adults. In contrast to other primary ovarian lymphomas, Burkitt lymphomas are often bilateral. The histologic, immunophenotypic, and genetic features are similar to those seen in other sites.
