Myeloma : Bone Lesions
Image Description
Skull is one of the most frequently involved bones in plasma cell myeloma. Computed tomography scans (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging are more sensitive than plain radiography in detecting small lesions. This CT of skull shows multiple lytic bone lesions. The patient was an 84 y/o female with plasma cell myeloma. Case courtesy of Dr Bruno Di Muzio, Radiopaedia.org. From the case rID: 14263
