Image Description

MALT Lymphoma - Parotid: Higher magnification of a lymphoepithelial lesion showing neoplastic cells with clear cytoplasm infiltrating into and around a highly distorted duct. The cells are monomorphic with regular nuclei, inconspicuous nucleoli, and moderate amounts of pale-staining or clear cytoplasm producing a monocytoid appearance.

Other findings that may be seen in salivary gland MALT lymphomas include: reactive germinal centers, epithelioid histiocyte clusters, dilated ducts producing cystic spaces, and amyloid deposits.
