Image Description

Leiomyosarcoma is the most common subtype of sarcoma arising in the vulva. Most patients are in their 4th or 5th decade of life and present with a mass. The histologic appearance is similar to those seen elsewhere in the female genital tract. Treatment is by wide local excision or radical vulvectomy.
