Microscopic Features: Hidradenoma papilliferum presents as a solid, well-demarcated nodule in the dermis or lamina propria. The overlying epidermis is normal, acanthotic, or ulcerated. The tumor cells are arranged in a highly arborizing, complex, papillary and glandular patterns as seen here.
