Image Description

It refers to the presence of large number of tubal-type ciliated cells in the endometrial mucosa. It is usually an incidental finding but is seen more commonly in association with endometrial hyperplasia. It may result in abnormal cells in a Pap smear. It is not a risk factor for endometrial adenocarcinoma.
