Image Description

High-grade serous carcinomas of the ovary show papillary architecture at least focally. Often it is the predominant architectural pattern. Besides papillary structures, the tumors can show glandular, cribriform, cystic, microcystic, solid, and transitional cell carcinoma-like areas. This photomicrograph shows gland-like spaces lined by high-grade tumor cells.
