Mucinous Borderline Tumor : Signet Ring Cells

Mucinous borderline tumor of the ovary - intestinal type signet ring cells - an uncommon finding. There is no cytologic atypia in this focus. Elsewhere in the tumor, there was severe cytologic atypia sufficient for the designation of intraepithelial carcinoma (see images 43-45).
