Clear cell carcinomas (CCC) of the ovary usually show moderate to severe cytologic atypia consisting of eccentric hyperchromatic nuclei and prominent nucleoli. All CCC are considered high-grade by default. In this image, highly pleomorphic tumor cells are seen lining glandular spaces as well as infiltrating singly through the stroma.
