Image Description

The left half of the image shows micropapillary variant of urothelial carcinoma which merges with more conventional areas on the right. The slender papillary fronds of this tumor resemble those seen in ovarian papillary serous tumors. It is a high-grade tumor with striking male predilection and makes up less than 1% of urothelial carcinomas.
