Image Description

Introduction: Inverted urothelial papilloma (IUP) is a benign urothelial neoplasm usually seen in older men. It is rare and makes up < 1% of all urothelial neoplasms. It is characterized by anastomosing cords and trabeculae of uniform width that arise from the surface urothelium and invaginate into the lamina propria. It has no known malignant potential and rarely recurs following complete transurethral resection.
