This patient received intravesical BCG therapy following resection of a non-invasive high-grade papillary urothelial carcinoma. BCG therapy is usually given at weekly intervals for about 6 weeks. Some patients become severely symptomatic after initial instillations and are unable to complete the immunotherapy course.
