Urachal remnants are sometimes found in the biopsies from dome or anterior wall of the bladder. They appear as cystically dilated epithelial-lined structures. The lining may be urothelial, flattened atrophic, or glandular type. They are surrounded by a thin layer of fibromuscular tissue.
