The acinar epithelial cells lack cytologic atypia. Basal cell layer is present. The differential diagnosis includes ductal pattern of prostatic adenocarcinoma and papillary adenocarcinoma of the bladder or urachus. Prostatic urethral polyps are benign lesions that are managed conservatively.
