Image Description

This adenomatoid tumor has a more solid appearance and consists of cords and nests of cells with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm and vesicular nuclei with punctate nucleoli.

Adenomatoid tumor is a benign neoplasm with no malignant potential. Most cases are diagnosed in orchiectomy specimens; however, if the diagnosis can be established intraoperatively on frozen sections, it may be appropriate to locally resect the tumor and preserve the testis.
