Image Description
Fibrous pseudotumor is composed of hypocellular dense hyalinized fibroconnective tissue. The fibroblastic cells may show reactive atypia. Chronic inflammatory cells are often scattered in the background. Foci of calcification or ossification may be seen in long-standing cases. Some cases may show evidence of remote hemorrhage in the form of hemosiderin-laden macrophages.
