Image Description

Vasitis nodosa is a benign proliferation of ductules in the vas deferens often seen following vasectomy. It may result in a nodular or tumor-like enlargement of the vas deferens. Sperm granulomas are present adjacent to the proliferating ductules in almost 50% of cases. The deeply basophilic areas in the inferior portion of vas deferens represent extravasated spermatozoa. The proliferating ductules are present mostly in the left half.
