Image Description
Anastomosing Hemangioma of Testis: Anastomosing hemangioma is a rare neoplasm of the genitourinary tract and is usually encountered in the kidneys. However, it may be rarely seen in the testis (as is the case here) and paratesticular tissues.
The anastomosing and infiltrative appearance of the vascular spaces with entrapment of seminiferous tubules can lead to concern for angiosarcoma; however, it lacks cytologic atypia or increased mitotic activity.
The biologic behavior is benign. Most cases are diagnosed on orchiectomy specimens. There are no recurrences or metastases.
