Image Description
Treatment: The diagnosis of testicular diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is usually made in orchiectomy specimen. Following the diagnosis, the patients generally receive combination chemotherapy with or without radiation to the contralateral testis. Intrathecal chemotherapy may also be given due to high risk of relapse in the CNS.
This image from a testicular DLBCL shows large atypical lymphoid cells (CD20+) and numerous small reactive lymphocytes (CD3+ T-cells) in a somewhat sclerotic stroma.
