Image Description
Serous borderline tumors of the testis are unilocular or multilocular cysts filled with clear straw-colored fluid. Grossly, the inner surface of the cyst shows papillary excrescences with varying degrees of complexity. The papillary structures have fibrovascular cores and show a hierarchical branching pattern from large to progressively smaller papillae and ultimately leading to smaller detached tufts of epithelial cells in clef-like spaces.
