Adrenal rests can be found in the testis or surrounding tissues in 1-1.5% of adults. They are slightly more frequent in children. Most cases consist of adrenal cortical tissue. Rare cases may include adrenal medulla. The image shows adrenal cortical rests in the lower portion and efferent ductules in the upper part. The patient had undergone orchiectomy for seminoma. The head of epididymis contained a 0.5 cm golden yellow nodule.
