Image Description
The presence of eosinophilic coagulative necrosis is distinctive but not specific for embryonal carcinomas. Such necrotic areas often undergo dystrophic calcification. The presence of intratubular coarse calcification in scarred areas of testis is often a presumptive evidence of a regressed germ cell tumor.
