Unlike classic seminoma, lymphoid infiltrate is usually absent in spermatocytic tumors; however, exceptions do occur, as shown here. This case showed scattered lymphoid aggregates as well as fibrous septa containing lymphocytes and plasma cells. The tumor was composed of the three cell types characteristic of spermatocytic tumor and the diagnosis was straightforward.
