Higher magnification of necrotizing granuloma of Wegener granulomatosis in a prostate needle biopsy. Prostatic involvement in Wegener granulomatosis occurs in between 2.5% and 7.5% of cases. This patient had been diagnosed with Wegener granulomatosis on a lung biopsy about 3 weeks prior to his presentation with prostatitis.
