Image Description

Introduction: Horseshoe kidney is the most common renal fusion anomaly. It consists of two vertical renal masses joined at their lower poles, across the midline, by a parenchymatous or a fibrous portion, resulting in a horseshoe-shaped organ. Note the two ureters passing anterior to the connecting portion.
