Urothelial Carcinoma of Renal Pelvis

Adjacent to the papillary urothelial carcinoma of the renal pelvis, the urothelial lining is often abnormal. Changes ranging from hyperplasia to dysplasia (shown in this image) to carcinoma-in-situ are frequently present.
