Image Description

Epithelioid Pattern: This consists of plump polygonal cells with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm, arranged in cords or trabeculae, 2-4 cells, separated by fibrovascular septae. This resembles the trabecular growth pattern of tumors like hepatocellular carcinoma and thyroid follicular carcinoma.

In some cases, uniform placing of epithelioid cells around vessels can mimic perivascular pseudorosette, Homer Wright rosette of PNET or tubular differentiation of Wilms tumor.
