Image Description
Cellular Mesoblastic Nephroma: The tumor is composed of plump spindle or ovoid cells arranged in densely packed sheets punctuated by thin-walled, dilated, staghorn vessels. The tumor cells have moderate amounts of eosinophilic cytoplasm and ovoid or round vesicular nuclei with punctate nucleoli. Mitotic activity is brisk (no prognostic significance). Necrosis and hemorrhage are frequently seen.
