The epithelial component in this case of nephroblastoma consists of tightly packed tubules with close resemblance to rosettes of neuroblastoma. The presence of an actual lumen, single layer of cells, the presence of a basal lamina, and surrounding fibromyxoid stroma favor tubules over rosettes.
