Mixed epithelial and stromal tumor (MEST): A small cyst lined by low cuboidal epithelium and surrounded by ovarian-type stroma. A tubular structure is present nearby. Such abortive tubules are sometimes seen in cases of mixed epithelial and stromal tumor as well as in multicystic nephroma.
