Image Description

Multicystic nephroma: The cysts are lined by tubular epithelium which may range from low columnar to cuboidal to flattened epithelium. Solid areas and nephroblastomatous elements are absent from cyst walls. Cystic nephroma should be distinguished from cystic renal cell carcinoma and cystic Wilms tumor. Some view this benign tumor as a fully differentiated variant of Wilms tumor.
