Image Description

Microscopic Features: The most common architectural pattern in metanephric adenomas is tightly packed small tubules with scant stroma. Most cases, however, show areas of solid sheets as well as nodules separated by hyalinized stroma.

Tightly packed tubules with abortive or pin-point lumina have created a near-solid appearance in this image. A cluster of larger tubules with more well-defined lumina is seen on the upper right.
