Image Description
Primary Angiosarcoma of Kidney: The macroscopic and microscopic appearance is similar to those seen at other sites. They produce large (up to 25 cm), ill-defined, infiltrative, yellow-tan mass with hemorrhagic areas. This image of a low-grade angiosarcoma of the kidney shows anastomosing vascular channels and sinusoids containing blood and lined by plump endothelial cells with hyperchromatic nuclei.
