Image Description

Angiomyolipomas (AML) - Treatment: The treatment for larger AMLs (greater than 4 cm) is surgical. For smaller asymptomatic tumors, if the diagnosis can be made confidently on radiologic studies, no treatment is required. The patient is followed with periodic radiologic evaluations. The image shows an AML with prominent sclerosis.
