The spectrum of histologic findings in angiomyolipomas is wide and depends upon the relative proportion of various components. This case had an abundance of mature adipose tissue and the gross and microscopic appearance resembled a lipoma. The presence of dysmorphic blood vessels was an important clue to the correct diagnosis.
