Image Description
Angiomyolipomas (AML) - Microscopic Features: A typical renal AML is composed of adipose tissue, blood vessels, and smooth muscle. The blood vessels are dysmorphic with thick walls and irregular lumens and they lack elastic lamina. The smooth muscle component is intimately associated with and appears to arise from the vessel walls.
