Adenocarcinoma in Chronic Atrophic Gastritis

Intestinal-type gastric adenocarcinoma arising in chronic atrophic gastritis is histologically indistinguishable from those arising in the setting of intestinal metaplasia due to other causes (such as Helicobacter pylori gastritis).
