Gastric Adenocarcinoma, Mucinous (Colloid) Type

Mucinous (colloid) carcinoma is characterized by copious extracellular mucin production. Its prognosis is slightly better than that for signet ring cell carcinoma and comparable to that for usual gastric adenocarcinomas.
