Gastric Adenocarcinoma, Diffuse Type (Linitis Plastica; Signet Ring Cell Carcinoma)

The tumor is deeply infiltrative causing diffuse thickening of the wall of the stomach. The histologic subtype was signet ring cell carcinoma.
