Higher power shows the irregular features of the malignant spindled cells. Extravasated erythrocytes are obvious. Immunostains for CD31, CD34, and HHV-8 are positive in this vascular lesion. Other malignant mesenchymal neoplasms, including angiosarcoma, should be included in the differential diagnosis.
