Image Description

Microscopic Features of Solid Pseudopapillary Tumor (SPT) of Pancreas: Neoplastic cells with clear cytoplasm are separated by bands of hyalinized stroma. The neoplastic cells lack a clearly definable line of differentiation, have bland round to oval nuclei with occasional linear groves, are glycogen and mucin negative, and can have cytoplasm ranging from eosinophilic to clear. Foci of calcification and even ossification may be seen in hyalinized stroma.
