IPMN : Immunohisto-chemistry
Image Description
Immunohistochemistry: Most intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs) of pancreas strongly express ductal markers such as CK7, CK19, CA19-9, and CEA.
Gastric-type IPMNs are positive for MUC5 and MUC6.
Intestinal-type IPMNs are positive for MUC2, MUC5, CK20, and CDX2, while negative for MUC-1.
Pancreatobiliary IPMN are positive for MUC1, MUC5, and MUC6, while negative for MUC2 and CDX-2.
