Treatment of Liver Hemangiomas (continued from the previous image): Non-surgical techniques such as transcatheter arterial embolization with a variety of agents is an option in some cases. In rare instances, radiation therapy has been used; however, it is not preferable due to the possibility of radiation hepatitis and the risk of secondary malignancies.
